Hi, this is Dr. Fab Mancini. I want to share with you how to build courage in your life. Because, you know what, I had to be very courageous to get in front of that audience with 50 people, at a very young age, and still do it. If I hadn’t done it, I wouldn’t be able to have the impact that I’ve had all over the world, reaching so many people in all of my public events as a public speaker.
1. Believe in yourself.
2. Don’t give up.
3. Create a support system.
You know, when I was in graduate school, I wanted to be a speaker.
I wanted to share information, but I was so afraid of it.
In fact, some people even say that speaking in public is one of the greatest fears that most of us have.
Look, if you have a fear right now in public speaking, I want you to like this button right now and I want you to put a comment right now, and tell me why do you feel that there’s fear whenever you think of public speaking.
Well, I want you to know, that was me.
That was me in 1987.
That was my first professional public speaking engagement, and I have 50 people in the room.
I was nervous, I was sweating, I was really overwhelmed because I had never done it.
I want you to know that public speaking is an art.
You’re not born with it, you become better the more that you do it.
Now, of course, I speak to thousands of people throughout the year, and I don’t have any hesitation at all because I’ve learnt to master it.
Look, today’s video is how to have courage.
I’m Doctor Fab Mancini and I want to share with you how to build courage in your life.
Because, you know what, I had to be very courageous to get in front of that audience with 50 people, at a very young age, and still do it.
If I hadn’t done it, I wouldn’t be able to have the impact that I’ve had all over the world, reaching so many people in all of my public events as a public speaker.
I want to share with you the three things that I’ve discover, that I have found in how to be courageous.
And remember, this is a conversation that you and I are having every single week, because I want to make sure that you give me the feedback.
That’s why these comments are there right below.
I want you to tell me, what are you thinking?
What are you feeling whenever I’m talking about this subject, so I can give you even more information to help you attain everything you want out of life.
So let me give you the three things, because I’m so excited about this particular topic.
The first one is, you gotta believe in yourself.
There’s no way you can be courageous if you don’t believe in yourself.
And, you know what, in my life I already expect that eight out of ten people that I come to with an idea, with a subject, with an excitement of something that I’m doing, are gonna probably say something negative to me, or maybe even make me question whether I’m able to do that or not.
I want you to know that, no matter whether the world doesn’t believe in you, you must believe in yourself.
You must find a strength within yourself to say, “If I can think it, I can make it happen”.
It’s one of the greatest lessons that I learnt in personal development.
So believe in yourself. I believe in you, I want you to believe in yourself too.
The second thing I do on a regular basis, to be able to have this courage that I find every single day, is never to give up.
You cannot give up, no matter what you’re going through in life.
You can’t give up.
Right now we know that most people, right about when they’re about to give up, is when they’re also about to have a breakthrough.
So, I promise you, if you’re feeling the pain, if you’re feeling the sweat, if you’re feeling the anguish of this struggle or this challenge that you’re facing, don’t give up because you’re gonna breakthrough just like everybody else.
And courage is what creates you to break through it.
So stay strong, stay courageous, and never give up.
The last thing that I want to share with you in how to be courageous is you must create a support system.
You see, in my life I’ve dealt with some pretty big deals and pretty big challenges in my life.
I have found that what brings courage to me, is to understand that I’m not alone in this fight.
That I have a support system, whether it’s your family, your loved ones, your significant other, or even your children, that can be a great support system for you.
I want to make sure that you enrol them into that vision, and you realize that you’re not alone because you can also make it through.
Just like other people out there have made it through, you can make it through.
