Dr. Fab: Hi, it’s Dr. Fab Mancini and welcome to our new season.

You know what?

This season is all about you, because I want to talk about the topics that you want me to talk about.

This one comes from actually, Facebook.

Phil says, “How do I take risks?”

Well, I want you to know, I took a big risk in my life when I went to graduate school.

The risk was, I didn’t have the money to pay for it.

Can you relate to that?

The only thing I owned was my car, so I went ahead and sold my car.

It took me a couple of weeks, but it gave me enough money to get started and then get financial aid.

I want to share with you at least three things that you can do right now in how to take risks.

The first one is, I want you to interview at least three people in
your life, three people that have taken the same risk, but they’ve been successful at it.

Why?

So you can learn from their mistakes and you don’t have
to spend that time, energy, or money learning it.

The second thing is, you can believe in yourself. I can tell you right now, there’s going to be between eight or nine people out of 10 people in your life that are going to tell you you shouldn’t take that risk.

Don’t listen.

These are typically going to be your family and friends.

Don’t listen.

Stay true to yourself, believe in yourself.

The last one is, I want you to take whatever action you need to take to make it work.

I want you to know that the action step is really where the outcome comes.

Take that risk. I know you’re going to make it, and I want you to know I thank you for showing up this season.

See you soon.
