Hi, it’s Dr. Fab Mancini and thank you so much for joining us.

I am so excited about this season because it’s all about you.

The topic that you want me to do, the topic that are going to make a difference in your life.

This is actually from Bibi.

Bibi is in Italy right now, so you know how much I love Italy, and with a name like Bibi, it’s always wonderful.

Okay, she writes, “Dr. Fab, how do I mentally get over my mistakes?”

So how do you mentally get over your mistakes?

Listen, I want you to know that I have made mistakes, and even though I manage over 400 employees at one time and I would tell them all, “I expect you to make mistakes,” because we learn from them.

No one is perfect.

And I made one mistake one time that I want you to know I made it but it was because of the recommendation and the influence of someone else.

I want you to know if you’re going to make a mistake, make sure that it’s yours and not someone else’s opinion.

I want to share with you the three things that I’ve learned how to get over the mistakes that I’ve made.

The first one is, accept it.

Accept it.

The worst thing that we can do is deny it or pretend it didn’t happen or just go on by and all of the sudden don’t learn the lessons that come from it.

So, accept it; that’s the first step.

The second one is, learn from it.

What are the lessons that this mistake is teaching me?

Is it about maybe financing or investing in something I shouldn’t have, or is it about investing in a relationship that I knew it wasn’t going to go anywhere, or is it about starting a new business without really being prepared for it?

Whatever the mistake, just learn the lesson.

And the last one is, teach the lesson to others.

See, one of the things that I’ve learned is that when you teach about your mistakes, when you teach other people how to prevent mistakes, it just allows you to feel much better about your mistakes and it also puts you into a position to then serve someone else through your lessons.

All right, I hope you’ve enjoyed these three tips and I can’t wait to see you on the next show.
