Thank you for sharing with me what’s important to you. This one actually comes from Patricia in Colorado. She actually wrote me YouTube video comment. And I do read all my comments on YouTube, Facebook, and all of my emails, so keep writing me. She writes, “Dr. Fab, how do I learn to forgive?”

Hi.

This is Dr. Fab Mancini.

Thank you so much for joining us in this new season.

I’m so excited because every single show, just like this one, is about the topics that you want me to do.

Now forgiveness is something, as you know, that I’ve been talking for almost 25 years to the world out there.

I can tell you the personal story that I can share with you about that is when I lost my father.

I lost my father at an early age of 64 because some doctors performed the wrong surgery, and unfortunately created a whole series of problems and complications that ultimately got him to be dead within a couple of years.

I had to forgive those individuals, because I know they didn’t mean to, but it happened.

I want to share with you the three things that I know can help you forgive someone out there.

The first one is don’t take what they did personally.

Understand that when people do things, when people say things, it’s about their issues, not your issues. If you make it about your issues, now you’re part of the problem.

Please, do not take anything that anyone’s done or anybody has said personally.

The second thing is learn from it.

What can you learn from that experience.

Did it make you stronger.

Did it make you get out of your comfort zone.

Did it make you leave the place that you’ve always lived in and go and explore a whole new life in a different place.

Learn from it and make something good out of it.

And the last one is release your negative emotions around it.

Begin to see that experience as something positive.

Begin to visualize it, meditate on it, and begin to… and I’m serious.

It doesn’t matter how difficult it was.

This works.

Release the negative emotions and replace them with positive emotions.

I hope you enjoyed these three tips and I can’t wait to see you on the next show.
