Because it’s about you.
It’s about the topics that you keep telling me you want me to do.
And this one comes actually from Liliana and she is in Belgrade, Europe.
And Liliana actually sent me a YouTube comment.
Know that I read all your Facebook posts and your YouTubes and your emails, so Liliana asked this question: “Dr. Fab, how do I take time to disconnect?”
Oh, do I really know that one.
I want you to know that I’ve had a problem with this many years, for many years.
Because I’m so driven with my passion.
I’m so driven to make an impact in the world.
But recently, I had something happen to me.
I won a cruise.
Can you believe it?
I won a cruise, a week cruise!
And I was not gonna go.
I was actually going to gift it to somebody that I knew could really enjoy it and have a good time.
But you know I had a couple of friends of mine that said, “Fab, you’ve been going through a lot this year. You need to take this cruise. You need to disconnect.”
And I did.
And it was the best decision I made.
I want you know: there’s three things I figured out how to disconnect.
Are you ready?
The first one is let your loved ones know.
You see, when you disconnect, one of the things that matter is that you have to let the people in your life that matter, whether it’s your partner, whether it’s your children, whether it’s your mother, your father, whether it’s your boss, make sure that the people you love know that you’re disconnected.
So that way, they’re not worried about you and you’re not gonna be worried about them.
The second thing is: just do it.
Please, just do it!
Like Nike says.
Just go ahead and disconnect.
If you feel like you need a break, a break from all your social media, a break from your work, a break from your relationship, just do it.
And the last one, and this is really important is do not feel guilty about it.
You see, most of us, we disconnect and then we feel guilty about it, and it takes away the peace that we’re looking for.
Do not feel guilty.
You are worthy of disconnected and all of us need to disconnect, so we can recharge.
