Hi, this is Dr. Fab Mancini and I’m so excited for this new season because we’re dedicating it to you with the topics that you want me to talk about.

This one comes from Jocelyn on the West Coast.

First of all, I love the West Coast so hi Jocelyn.

I’m dedicating this one to you.

It says, “Dr. Fab, how do I deal with negative people?”

Oh, my gosh.

This is a big one.

I can tell you right now that when I first thought about writing my first book everyone in the world was negative about it.

They said, “Fab, you can even hardly speak English. You can’t even write.”

You know what?

I just decided to do it anyways and look at what a big success my first best-selling book was.

I want to share with you right now three things of how to deal with negative people.

Does that sound okay?

You ready?

All right.

The first one is: Make sure that you develop high certainty.

See, one of the biggest lessons I learned is that the person that has the highest level of certainty will always lead.

I know there’s going to be negative people out there, but they’re being negative because they never accomplish, they never done what you said you’re going to do.

Don’t take it personally.

Just stay certain and I know that they’ll come around.

The second one is: Set your boundaries.

If somebody’s coming at you, always negative, always bringing you down, always depressing you, set your boundaries.

Choose to only spend so much time with them.

Let them know and say, “Hey, Bob. I’m not going to be able to spend any more time with you because you’re bringing me down.”

Set your boundaries.

The last one is: Stay positive.

Stay positive because you know what?

Positive overrules negative.

The more positive you are, the more you can change those negative people around you.

I hope you enjoyed this show and I’ll see you on the next one.
